So then. SPs 11th Birthday, on Saturday the 11th of the 11th (November). Bit odd that dont ya think? Call it fate, call it a fluke, but one thing you cant call it is lucky… cos for the past 11 Yrs, SP have created their own infectious niche market through sheer hard work and dedication.
You see, SP promoters Trace Harris and Claire White are from the old skool of promoting. They wear the SP brand on their sleeves and party from the heart. They know every single person who comes to their events and incredibly they have put on over 300 parties around the world (including Space Ibiza, Berlin Love Parade, Hacienda, Queens Day Amsterdam, Tenerife Carnival and Knebworth, taking in over 22 different countries en route!! Regular guests to the decks include Paul Jackson, Mike Monday, Oliver Lang, Jo Mills, Guy Williams, The Sharp Boys, Mark Wilkinson, Wally Lopez, King Roc and Alex P, and the future is looking bright too with forthcoming SP Tours planned in New York, Abu Dhabi, Poland and Brazil, plus the launch of SP Recordings in December. Its fair to say that SP is one of clublands biggest global names and we hope you can join them in their Birthday celebrations come 11/11.
The actual night itself will feature all your regular SP action – which means 6rooms of the finest house music on the planet featuring special Birthday sets from headliners (and party animals!) Paul Jackson, Guy Williams, The Sharp Boys and Alex P. Jacko and Williams will resume court in the main room – the scene of many a debauched set from both spinners over the years, whilst The Sharp Boys and Alex P are let loose in T2 to unload hidden old skool gems and funky club classics. SPs fabulous residents Carlos Francisco & Matty Wells will also be hanging out to ensure the SP faithful get on the receiving end of their majestic mixing, with additional support elsewhere from the likes of Danny Dove, Ross Manthorpe, Funky Disciples, Chris Biscuit, Ramone and many more. If the Birthday celebrations get a little too much for ya then help is also at hand, courtesy of the Pure Bliss Massage Therapy girls who will give you a proper good rub down (if you ask them nicely!)
